Milestone safety moment at Duggan Brothers

Duggan Brothers (Contractors) Ltd officially reached the significant milestone of 500,000 hours with zero lost time accidents on the  Forensic Science Ireland Laboratory Project, in Celbridge, Co. Kildare.

The new Forensic Science Ireland Laboratory will house the recently established DNA database and will provide a long-awaited modern facility, which will ensure the continuing growth and development of forensic science in Ireland.

In recognition of this achievement at the end of July, management, supervisors and the entire workforce joined together for a complementary lunch and prize giving in the sun.

Those recognised for their positive contribution to Duggan Brothers’ Health and Safety Practices on site included:

Mark Byrne, Apprentice electrician, Designer Group – Outstanding Engagement with Duggan’s EHS Programme

James O’Donnell, Killeen Civils – Outstanding Engagement and always endeavours to take the correct approach

Rebecca Hughes, Designer Group, EHS Advisor – Recognition from DBL EHS management team for her contribution in achieving this significant milestone

“This milestone is a direct result of each and every individual’s commitment to safe working practices across the site,” the company said. “Congratulations to all key stakeholders that have contributed to and embraced Duggan Brothers’ Health and Safety Ethos throughout the project.”
