It’s been a busy start to autumn in the CIF regions with leadership teams taking time to engage with member companies across the western seaboard of Ireland. CIF Director Justin Molloy led a delegation from the Northwest Branch at the Vision Built production facility in Tubbercurry, Co. Sligo.

Members of the Vision Built team during a recent CIF visit
The visitors were greeted by Vision Built MD Brian Kennedy who shared his expertise in design, manufacturing and installation. With over three decades of experience in off-site construction, Vision Built uses fully computerised roll forming machines to assemble innovative building structures created by 3D modelling software.

Its hot rolled and light gauge steel structures are then assembled in its state-of-the-art 100,000 sq. foot factory. Working with chartered structural engineers and trained installers, the company operates in a range of market sectors including residential, commercial, hotel and educational.
Meanwhile CIF Galway Branch Chair and MBCA President Tara Flynn was joined by CIF Directors Justin Molloy and Dermot Carey as well as CIF Director General Tom Parlon on a tour of the Castle Modular production facility in Gort, Co. Galway.

The Castle Modular team
Led by MD Seamus Brady the company has been producing volumetric modular buildings and bathroom pods for over two decades. Volumetric modular construction has proved especially beneficial in the private rental, hospitality, healthcare and student accommodation sectors due to the fact that it requires around half the time on site compared to a traditional build.
